Roller-Setting Dry Hair

Practice makes perfect, right? Well, I sure hope so.

Today, I brought some hair products:

* Kids Organics Shea Butter Detangling Moisturizing Hair Lotion (ingredients looked decent)
* Doo Gro Stimulating Growth Oil (yea, I bought it despite the mineral oil)
* Travel-Size Motions Foaming Wrap (for my next real (aka wet) roller set

I applied the Kids Organics hair lotion to my hair in section, sealing with oil, and rollerset my dry hair the same way I would a wet roller set. I'm hoping for soft, moisturized hair... with a nice sheen and bounce. This dry rollerset took less than 50 minutes... if only my wet rollersets would require so little time.

The weather where I live is crappy. It's been raining nearly everyday. The rollerset I got at the hair salon last week lasted quite a bit but today (and yesterday, too) I succumbed to the rain and mist and put my hair in a ponytail.

I've also been horrible about moisturizing my hair in between washes. Today's venture is a step forward in getting back on tracks.

Here's to a less comfortable night sleep with rollers while I hope for good results... and better weather tomorrow!
